The Last Episode is here! The Quest to become State Champion this year has come and past! Section 6 Crowned 3 State Champions this year in Division 2! Congratulations to Cory Day, Robbie Penhollow and Mike Rigerman! For the rest of Section 6, the offseason begins, and the grind towards next season becomes even more important.

This week, Matt reads off the place finishers across NYS, and gives special shout outs to the Section 6 and St. Francis Place Finishers!

Episode 15 - This Is It

Max discusses Grand Island’s successes, and with Matt, talks about the First Ever NYSPHSAA Girl’s State Championship held at NCCC, run through the list of Wild Cards to be added to the State Meet, and looks through every Section 6 and Local Catholic Representative in the State Meet, their placement, and their first Round Opponent’s in the Projected State Brackets! Episode 14 - The Post Season So Far

It's been a while! Section 6 Wrestlecast returns after a few weeks off and at the best possible time! Class Championships and the Sectional Championships are completed, and we are now awaiting the Wild Card Alternates! Congrats are in order for all champions! 
From the multiple-time Sectional Champions to the first timers, the Section 6 State Team looks really strong for Division 1 and 2! Hopefully it entails some State Champions! Also, St. Francis crowned two Catholic State Champions that will advance to the NYS Championship in Albany in a few weeks.
Wrestlecast also wants to acknowledge some people who have helped make this podcast possible. Maybe not directly, but Matt O'Rourke, Tim Herman, and Mike Luick have been very good to the sport of wrestling around here and deserve all of the credit! We give them their due shout-outs on this episode, and hope that you do the same!

Episode 13 - No Team Duals, Some Problems

Despite the cancellation of the Section 6 Team Dual Championship, Section 6 will be represented by Olean and wild card Niagara-Wheatfield, and small school by Falconer. Unfortunately, the other teams won't have an opportunity to qualify, but this situation will pave the way for more precautions and fail-safes in the future. Episode 12 - Fallout Week

This week was the big fallout from the NFWOA Tournament! Quite a few tournaments went down, including Lockport, Niagara Orleans League, WIlliamsville North, Falconer, and the prestigious Eastern States Classic!

 Several major Dual Matches occurred this week, as well as the seeding for the big Section 6 Team Championship Tournament where the winner will advance to the Team State Dual Championship! Matt finally catches the weekly rankings from Wrestling Review of WNY! Listen in to hear all of the results from around the Section!

The biggest non-post season tournaments came and went in the blink of an eye. The NFWOA tournament featured a host of many Section 6 Wrestling Teams, as did the Ripley Tournament. Episode 6 - Iron Sharpens Iron and Hard Work Works

The first week of Varsity competition is in the books. In that first week, senior Johnny Putney has become the GOAT of East Aurora, Connor Kenney achieved 100 wins, and hundreds of kids across the Section competed.
