Why the strongest supporters of each candidate believe the other is a threat to America.
While overall inflation has been the buzz over the past two years, inflation is much more under control in 2024. However, this doesn’t mean prices have come down, just that they stopped going up as fast. Housing, perhaps the biggest expenditure in virtually every American’s life, is still accounting for a large portion of continued inflation as prices have gone through the roof! Moreover, housing prices seem less likely to recover to more reasonable levels in any short period of time. The ongoing trial involving former President Donald Trump, often referred to as the Trump Hush Money Trial, is a significant legal and political event. However, despite its implications, it has garnered surprisingly limited interest from the American public. Or was it Democrats who abandoned union workers? Let’s do a level set on unions and lower wage workers to see what truths we can pull from this mystery. By the way, the title of this article is drawn from the 1996 Arnold Schwarzenegger movie, Eraser in which Joe Viterelli (pictured above) played an intimidating union boss.
Today’s Topic: Is the TikTok Clock Running Out?
Last week, Congress appeared to be in the mood for an old-fashioned Western duel by giving TikTok an ultimatum: terminate the ownership of China’s communist government in the short-form video entertainment platform or we will terminate TikTok. A social media platform with potential to overreach using user data and pose a national security threat? That’s the kind of online manipulation intrigue that led to the creation of They’re All Lying to Us (TALUS) . . . so, of course, we had to dig deeper if for no other reason than to provide an appropriate online grave for a social media giant.
THE LAUNCH: TODAY’S TOPIC As we Americans adjust ourselves to this week’s time change, They’re All Lying to US (TALUS) springs ahead with an investigation of the daylight savings time (DST) phenomenon. How did it start? Should it be killed once and for all?
