The guys cover Captain America and the Avengers for Sega Genesis, and briefly discuss the NES version due to some serious game mix-up on Johnny’s part. Stick around for a “special” bliss quiz at the end, as Marvel Month concludes in a way that most certainly would not make Disney or Stan Lee proud.

Marvel Month continues with yet another Spider-Man game. This time it’s Mysterio’s Menace, the first Spider-Man game on the Gameboy Advance. Will it be as surprisingly good as Sinister Six for the Gameboy Color? Will it be as infuriating as Silver Surfer? Will it be somewhere in-between, trapped in an eternal Hell known only to Trevor and Johnny and others plagued with gout, plantar fasciitis, peripheral neuropathy, and near crippling arthritis? Man that was a really honest sentence right there. Also this game is Tim’s pick.
Trevor and Johnny tackle the notorious Silver Surfer for NES as Marvel month continues! Will they find the difficulty punishing? And what about that soundtrack? All these questions and more answered on Silver Surfer’s next exciting adventure: The Rise and Fall of Retro Blissed!

Marvel Month begins with Spider-Man 2 for Gameboy Color, which has you web slinging your way across 6 levels to save poor Aunt May who has been kidnapped. Will Tim, Trevor, and Johnny like it? Will Trevor ever be able to pronounce “sinister six” without screwing it up? Unlikely on that last one.
The Lost Levels, aka Super Mario Bros 2 in Japan, is the hardest Mario game by a massive margin. What happens when Trevor and Johnny face such a formidable challenge? I think we all know the answer to this. Why pretend?

The guys tackle this launch game for the GBA. Or does F-Zero Maximum Velocity tackle them? Man, these blurbs have gotten very lazy.
In the Hunt is a 1993 Irem arcade game often described as a mix between R Type and Metal Slug, made by the same team who made Metal Slug 3 years later. Will Trevor and Johnny torpedo their way through this game, or sink into despair?

Join Tim, Trevor, and Johnny as they cover Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, the game that combines Tetris with Street Fighter, sort of. There’s also lots of things said in this episode (only by Johnny and Trevor) that no one should be proud of.
Metal Slug X, for the arcade, Neo Geo AES, PlayStation, and many other systems as part of a compilation, is a Contra style run and gun shooter that brings the heat! Trevor and Johnny see how many credits it takes to clear the game, and for some reason spend way too much time talking about their disgusting new (and probably very fake) sponsor.

This is it. The very first Kirby game. Did this pink cream puff have a great start on the original Gameboy, or did he…suck? Sorry. Really, very sorry.
Johnny and Trevor cover the Super Nintendo version of the 1991 Data East Arcade game Joe & Mac. However, the SNES version is very much its own beast. Will the guys discover fire in this game, or just get squashed by asteroids and quickly forgotten?

Rare and Nintendo bring you Mickey’s Speedway USA, a racing game in the vein of R.C. Pro Am and Rock n’ Roll Racing. Don’t let the Disney characters fool you, this is one tricky Gameboy Color racer. This episode features a couple of packages, plus Tim.
Rad Racer was, in many ways, an Outrun clone, but it was also ahead of its time for a home console racing game on the NES. Does this game and its sequel live up to the Square name, or was it just a weird footnote before they became the Final Fantasy company? More importantly, remember when Trevor and Johnny reviewed Final Fantasy VI? What a freaking disaster.

Wario Land 3 is not what you may think, if what you think is this is ANYTHING like a Mario game. Also, Johnny is in rare form this episode and Trevor simply cannot form a coherent thought with this level of buffoonery. Tim, as always, is the only one with any sense. Listen at your own risk.
Out Run is a 1991 Sega Genesis port of the 1986 classic arcade game by the legend Yu Suzuki. Trevor and Johnny talk about and review both versions and decide if they still hold up today or if there time has run out, much like Trevor and Johnny have long ago run out of holes on their belts.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: Back from the Sewers is a 1991 Konami game for the original Gameboy. Is it a beat em up or something else? Join Tim, Trevor, and Johnny as they find a way to talk about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles YET AGAIN.
Top Gun is a 1987 Konami game for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It is notorious for its difficulty, especially in landing the plane. Andrew Lenz joins Trevor and Johnny to find out if this is one NES game whose ego is writing checks its body can’t cash.

Metal Slug Advance is an all original Metal Slug designed for Nintendo's GBA, with a few changes unique to this game. Listen as Trevor, Johnny, and Tim review the game. Also: Trevor admits to a really gross pre-workout routine, Johnny is petty, and Tim wonders why he doesn't choose his friends more carefully.
Bayou Billy is a 1989 Konami game for the Nintendo Entertainment system. It has 3 distinct gameplay styles. Listen for the full review and an enlightening new Bliss Quiz! You know what else has 3 styles? Trevor and Johnny: portly, unkempt, and slovenly.

Star Trek: 25th Anniversary is a Gameboy action game published by Konami. It features 2 distinct gameplay types. Will the guys like either gameplay type, or reject both as they have faced rejection many times in their own lives. Live long, and eat Chinese buffets.
