Draft Day is nearly here. The Mock Drafts are ever flowing by paid analysts, journalists and armchair Quarterback's alike, as everybody likes to predict their team, and or other teams major needs and targets. BUT! For every draft class that produces a handful of studs, there is always at least one major bust pick.

Whatever the reason may be, whether it’s off-field issues, injuries, stress, or other, there have been some downright major busts in the NFL Draft. Every team has had them. Some more than others. A history altering decision, but in the end, Indianapolis made the right choice.

Welcome back to Part 2 of the History of the NFL! For the most part of the first 30 years of the NFL, it’s biggest challenge was itself. Although minor threats from quick upstart Pro Football Organizations came and went, one league born from spite came and changed Professional football for the better, and introduced new rules and innovations that we may overlook today!

That league was the American Football League (AFL) and it arrived in 1960, with a handful of rejected owners who were forbidden from opening expansion franchises in the NFL. The Original Teams, the New York Titans(Jets), Denver Broncos. Houston Oilers(Tennessee Titans, Los Angeles Chargers, Buffalo Bills, Oakland Raiders, Dallas Texans (Kansas City Chiefs) and Boston Patriots, eventually became NFL Staples. The National Football League has been home to many amazing teams of individuals over the years. There seems to be a handful of dynasties that define each and every generation, but, what happens when a team, led by an Owner, a Head Coach, and a Quarterback, have been together since the beginning and owned 2 decades of the National Football League? The most unique sports dynasty that we have ever seen has stood the test of time, withstood many, many controversies, but, always manages to make it back to the top of the mountain.

Over the last 2 decades, the Patriots have been seen by some as a mark of excellence, and by many, sheer rage, and anger. The duo of Tom Brady and Bill Belichick have beaten every great team and player that there is, and while a majority of the league dislikes it, people like myself have grown to appreciate it.

Joining Matt on this episode, is a Patriots fan, and one of the most down to earth and well articulated that you will ever hear, in Allan Keohane, who, by the way, co-hosts his own podcast called “Geeks United with Al and Bob”!
