Marshall Faulk was shipped from Indianapolis to St. Louis after 5 seasons, and opened the doorway for the drafting of Edgerrin James by the Colts, and The Greatest Show on Turf for the Rams. Surprise! The week was so wild with signings and trades, that Matt and Brian felt the need to address the biggest moves with an extra episode. Matt and Andrew pay tribute to the great Pat Summerall in this week’s NFL History episode! Pat defined his era of broadcasting, with and without the late John Madden, and became the voice of a generation of football enthusiasts.
