This week on "Tea It Up With Phil and Cindy" we talk with the award-winning screenwriter, showrunner, and screenwriting coach with more than 35 produced writing projects, Jordan Imiola. He is the creator and head writer of the comedy series "Romantically Hopeless," "Monster Therapy," "Sports TV," and "Aaron and Abby's Adventures," a romantic-comedy sitcom currently filmed in Buffalo that features Cindy and Phil.
Jordan is an inaugural graduate of Buffalo State University's Television and Film Arts program and became the first student in the university's history to be nominated for the WGA Michael Collyer Fellowship. After graduating, he moved to Los Angeles, where he worked with companies including 20th Century Fox, MarVista Entertainment, and Walt Disney.
During the 2020 pandemic, Jordan wrote and directed the award-winning feature Zoom comedy "Christmas Staycation," now streaming on Tubi, and his most recent wedding comedy feature film, "Love at First Spite," is now streaming on Amazon.
In addition to writing and producing, Jordan has sold multiple screenplays, ghostwritten for production companies, and mentors writers of all experience levels. He is also the host of the podcast, "Screenwriters Talk Screenwriting."
