In a day and age where Marvel and DC are heralded as the be all end all, it’s difficult to stand out without those two machines behind them. However, a few have. This one in particular, a Dark Horse standout, is Hellboy. Created and drawn by Mike Mignola, Hellboy only debuted in 1993, and has since become a popular mainstay in comic book lore.
