The cultural impact brought around by his stories, and the lore he presented around it, began a renewed interest in fantasy works, and made Tolkien the pioneer of modern fantasy. LOTR and The Hobbit has found ways to stay relevant, including a mega hit film franchise, and continues to find new fans to this day!
