Jeffrey Jason Garcia was always told no. Upon completing college, he was not selected in the the 1994 Draft, due to the common belief at the time that smaller quarterbacks could not succeed. After 5 successful seasons in the CFL, he joined the San Francisco 49ers as the backup to Steve Young. Called to start after a career ending injury to Young, he never looked back. Leading 3 different teams to 4 playoff appearances, his had quite a career!
