The words “Double Doink” is enough to give Chicago Bears fans some internal pain. It was a heartbreaking moment for a team that was so close to winning their first playoff game in nearly a decade. It wasn’t to be though.

The 2022 NFL Draft weekend was insane, as there were surprise picks, big player trades, and new hope instilled for many teams across the league. Matt and Brian discuss some of the trends and moves they noticed in the draft, amongst likes and dislikes!
Many years ago, Tony Dungy pulled the Tampa Bay Buccaneers franchise out of irrelevancy, and built a as defensive monster. After several years being one of the top NFC teams however, Dungy was released, as Bucs management didn’t believe that he could take them to the Super Bowl.

Andrew and Matt head back to the 1990 NFC Championship game between the New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers. Late in the game, as the 49ers are driving, Roger Craig fumbles right into the hands of Lawrence Taylor. The Giants would drive down field and kick the game winning field goal.

The next USFL episode is a feature on 2022 Hall of Fame Inductee, Sam Mills. The short, but hard hitting linebacker, spent 3 seasons in the USFL, and many more in the NFL, as part of the famous and highly touted “Dome Patrol” of the Saints in the late 80’s - early 90’s.
